We believe that cricket can play an important part in helping people lead happy and healthy lives. So, we try to develop the game with our local partners and help enable all people to have access to cricket as a way of connecting to other people and being active.

Delivering Cricket in Schools
We partner with Somerset Cricket Foundation to deliver services as part of Chance to Shine's initiative to change the lives of children and young people through access to cricket in schools.
Seniors Cricket
Many of those over 50 struggle to find the time or opportunity to enjoy cricket as part of their lives. So, we would like to work with other clubs to create more local opportunities for those over 50 to have opportunities to play at a level and intensity that suits them. Walking cricket and seniors cricket are two areas we are looking to make an impact, focussing on enjoyment and active living.
Developing the Women's Game
We have a strong history of women's cricket at our club. However, the women's game has struggled locally to create a rich pipeline of girls' and women's cricket to support a
